Tecmo Koei Asks Sony to "Please Cut PS3 Price".

The CEO of Tecmo Koei has stated that he is hoping for a price drop to the PlayStation 3. Kenji Matsubara, in an interview with CVG, said he's made it known to Sony that the company is interested in seeing such a move. Sony starting work on gaming phone...

Sony will start work on a new gaming phone to compete with the increasingly popular iPhone, according to a Nikkei report.


The firm will apparently set up a new team in July to develop the gaming gadget, which will supposedly sport the functionality of a Sony Ericsson phone with the ultimate aim of halting the ever increasing threat of the iPhone.

God of War Website Gets a Makeover.

SCEA has recently announced a newer version of the God of War website. Once you click on the updated website you will notice the changes right away. ESRB lists Final Fantasy VII for PSP and PS3.

One of the PSone's best selling games is finally coming soon to the PlayStation Store. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) website has listed Final Fantasy VII for the PLAYSTATION 3 and PSP. No release date has been announced yet.

Killzone 2 Second DLC 'Flash and Thunder' pack dated.

The second map pack for Killzone 2 has just been announced by Sony. The "Flash and Thunder" pack contains two Killzone 1 level remakes. Beach Head, in which you're tasked with resisting a Helghast invasion force on a coastal stronghold, and The Southern Hills, in which it's the ISA's turn to invade a Helghast hilltop compound.

Apparently Sony doesn't care about selling games on PS3.

Sony currently has more internal studios than Microsoft and Nintendo combined. There is little doubt that Sony spends a ton of money on building its in-house development studios. However, according to anex-Sony employee it seems like Sony may not really care about selling alot of first party games all that much.
